Spider-Man: No Way Home saw the Marvel Cinematic Universe being visited by characters from the latest Spider-Man film series after Tom Holland’s Peter Parker interfered with a strange cast of wizards on their behalf. Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and Lizard wasted no time causing trouble in the MCU, while Peter’s versions of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield arrived in the third act to help their younger counterpart. But the third act of No Way Home also nearly saw other characters from other parts of the multiverse nearly forced into the MCU, and one Spider-Man fan seems to have figured out who some of these individuals were.
For those who need a refresher on spider-man: no way home, green goblin was able to unleash the aforementioned spell that doctor strange has kept contained after he went berserk. silhouettes of light began to appear in the sky of people being drawn from other universes, and the only way the strangers could stop their entry was by casting a new spell that would make everyone in the mcu forget that tom holland’s peter parker it was spider man. With six of these silhouettes looking particularly distinctive, tiktoker kevinmoranrob has dropped some compelling suggestions as to who these spider-man characters might be, so let’s go over them.
Superior Spider-Man
during the 2010s, there was a period in the main marvel comics universe in which doctor octopus took over the body of peter parker, but instead of resuming his villainous ways, he carried on with the mantle to throw cobwebs. Believing that he could do a better job of fighting crime than Peter, Otto christened himself the ultimate Spider-Man and meted out a more ruthless form of justice. So while Alfred Molina’s Otto Octavius was his usual four-tentacled self, there’s evidently a version of him in the multiverse who ended up becoming Spider-Man, either through the same method as his comic book counterpart. or in some other way.
kraven the hunter
After the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, many Spider-Man fans thought the next web-slinging movie would see Peter Parker tangling with Kraven the Hunter. After all, with Peter being framed for Mysterio’s death, there could easily have been a story about someone hiring Kraven to capture or kill Peter. That didn’t end up happening, but there seemed to be a tease for the great hunter-turned-supervillain in Spider-Man: There’s No Way Home. maybe that was the kraven that aaron taylor-johnson will play in early 2023.
scorpion
the original marvel comics scorpion mac gargan was a private investigator j. Jonah Jameson was originally hired to find out how Peter Parker took such amazing photos of Spider-Man, but was later convinced to undergo an experimental procedure that combined his genetics with the scorpion’s DNA. With these new abilities and a mech suit equipped with a cybernetic tail, the Scorpion was born! Although Mac Gargan was played by Michael Mando in Spider-Man: Homecoming, he never turned into a Scorpion, but apparently one of his doppelgängers became a full-blown supervillain.
black cat
much like catwoman with batman in dc comics, black cat has occasionally been an enemy of spider-man, but more often she’s portrayed as an anti-hero or an ally, and there have even been times when the two have had a fight sentimental relationship. Felicia Hardy is a skilled thief, gymnast, and martial artist, and there was a time when she could affect probability fields to give her opponents “bad luck.” Felicity Jones appeared as Felicia in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and for years there has been a Silver & black project in development that would see a different version of felicia paired with silver saber. maybe that was the black cat that was mocked in spider-man: no way home.
rhinoceros
Like mac gargan, aleksei sytsevich underwent scientific experiments that enchanted his physical attributes and was also given specialized armor that made him even more powerful. As the Rhino, Alexsei is not only one of Spider-Man’s strongest foes, but he has also gone toe-to-toe with the Hulk on numerous occasions. The Alexei Paul Giamiatti that he played in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was piloting a gigantic mech suit at the end of that movie, but the rhino that apparently appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home looked more like the traditional form of him. >

Finally, MCU fans certainly don’t need to know just how threatening Mysterio can be. We saw him manipulate and wreak havoc on Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and though he died in that movie, his minions released to the masses a video he recorded beforehand, revealing Peter’s secret identity and framing him for both of them. . his death and the elemental attack on london. well, it looks like there’s another version of mysterio antagonizing a different spider-man; Maybe the one he was supposed to appear in spider-man 4?
